We have a vibrant peer-to-peer support network spanning Australia and New Zealand. Some cities have regular in-person support community meetings and we have regular online Zoom meetings. Here’s a list of currently active communities run by Recovering from Religion Australia:
In-Person
In-PersonPerth, WA
The Perth-based RfR community has been meeting regularly for over 2 years. We generally meet at the State Library of Western Australia.
Melbourne, VIC
An in-person community is currently being formed in Melbourne Victoria and hoping to do our inaugural meeting around February 2025.
Sydney, NSW
We’re hoping to launch a Sydney-based in-person community at some point. Contact us if you’d like to be involved.

The Sydney-based RfR Zoom community has been meeting regularly for over 4 years. This is run by volunteers from all over the country and has many regular attendees.
